Our old Victorian is given a facelift
We purchased a beautiful old Victorian home this past Spring and just keep falling in love with it day after day. We've never owned an older home because we never really wanted the upkeep that they tend to require. But this one had already been updated and we loved the character that jumped out at us from every corner.
However, we knew that eventually we would need to replace the roof because the inspection showed that it was worn in a few places. Well, we found one place in particular that was quite warn which was right above our second story bedroom window. Whenever we had a heavy rain, which happens often around here in the Spring, we would watch as the water would drip through the top of the window onto the wood floors. It was manageable at first with just a few towels to catch the drips until one day when the drips became a steady stream of water.
That's when we called Millwood Roofing and Construction. They were wonderful to work with and they gave us an awesome roof that equals the beauty of our home. Here is a link to a page on their website which features our home!

It's the simple things in life that warm my heart...
....such as beholding the beauty God provides in the setting sun over the ocean...
...or my grandmother's old bowl that often graces the table at my parent's home...
...to the family and friends who so richly bless my life. These are all things that bring a smile to my face and warm my heart.
